The Story
In May 1889, Vincent van Gogh entered an asylum in Saint-Rémy, where he found solace in nature. It was here, amidst the vibrant blooms of the garden, that he painted “Irises”. Inspired by the flowing shapes and bold colors of Japanese woodblock prints, Van Gogh captured the life and movement of each flower, making them all beautifully unique.
Just like Van Gogh’s Irises, we’ve transformed a part of his masterpiece into fabric. Our Iries pocket square and neckerchief are paying tribute to the delicate beauty of nature. Each design reflects Van Gogh’s meticulous attention to detail, capturing the graceful curves and vibrant spirit of the irises. Wear this piece, and carry a touch of art and history with you, every day.
The light, airy texture of the voile cotton fabric makes this piece perfect for adding a touch of effortless elegance to any outfit, in any season.
